Uttarakhand: Government order issued on various pending demands of Uttarakhand Diploma Engineers Federation, the federation expressed gratitude to Dhami

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday participated in the ‘Gratitude and Congratulation Ceremony’ program organized by Uttarakhand Diploma Engineers Federation at Chief Sevak Sadan, Chief Minister’s residence, Dehradun. On this occasion, the federation officials expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for issuing government orders on various pending demands of the federation.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, while welcoming all the officials of Diploma Engineers Federation, said that the skilled and talented engineers of the state are making significant contribution in the building of the nation and the state. Engineer is the main pillar of progress of our state. He said that as per the statement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state government is continuously working on making Uttarakhand the third decade of the 21st century.
The Chief Minister said that the infrastructure built under the state, various development schemes, government buildings, etc. ensures development in our state. In such a situation, there should be no compromise on the quality of these infrastructure/construction works. It is the responsibility of all of us in the technical organizations to maintain the quality of construction works. Keep this in mind that there should be no lack in any development plan/project in the state from the development of infrastructure to enhancing the technical capabilities.
The Chief Minister said that MOUs worth more than Rs 3.5 lakh crore were signed in the Investor Global Summit. Till now, grounding of MoUs worth Rs 71,000 crore has been done. The state government has constituted UIDB for effective implementation of the schemes. Haripur Dham is being developed in Kalsi. The development work of Kainchi Dhami, Maa Purnagiri temple is going on. 30 new policies have been introduced. All-round development work is in progress. The state government has taken many important decisions in the interest of the people of the state. The state government has taken big and tough decisions like Uniform Civil Code, strictest anti-copying law, conversion law, anti-riot law etc.
The Chief Minister said that the state government has resolved the years-pending problems of the Diploma Engineers Federation. With the decision to increase the conveyance allowance for Junior Engineers and Additional Assistant Engineers working in various engineering departments, for the first time, Rs 4000 has been allowed as conveyance allowance to Assistant Engineers, along with Rs 1000 to 1000 Junior Engineers. The benefit of higher salary has been provided on continuous service of one year. It has also been decided to remove the pay discrepancy for junior engineers in the posts of Additional Assistant Engineers. This will definitely boost the morale of junior engineers and assistant engineers through the efforts of the government.
The Chief Minister said that the government is solving the public problem by considering it as its own problem. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given the mantra of moving with everyone’s support, everyone’s development, everyone’s faith and everyone’s efforts. We are reaching out to the last person in the society and solving his problems. It is the collective responsibility of all of us to make Devbhoomi the best state of the country.
