Uttar Pradesh: Saifai Medical College student murdered, dead body thrown on the roadside, students sitting on strike after shutting down emergency services
There was an uproar over the murder of a medical student in Etawah, Uttar Pradesh. The body of an ANM student of Saifai Medical College, Etawah was recovered from the roadside on Thursday night. The girl’s body was soaked in blood. It is also being claimed in media reports that bullet marks were seen on the neck of the student. However, the police are still talking about the ongoing investigation in this regard. The student was in salwar-shoot. When passersby passing through the area saw the body of the student lying on the road, they informed the police. Police reached the spot after receiving information and sent the body for post-mortem. At the same time, when the students in the medical college heard the news of the murder of the student, they started creating an uproar. About 1000 students sat on strike in the college. Emergency services have been stopped.
Seeing the increasing commotion in Saifai Medical College, SSP Sanjay Kumar Verma reached the college with the police force. An attempt was made to convince the students. However, the students remained adamant on their insistence. Students say that the accused in the murder case should be arrested as soon as possible. The student was a resident of Auraiya. His age is said to be around 18 years. She was a first year ANM student. The student had gone out of the college on Thursday afternoon after giving a call to her friend. She was missing since then. SSP said that the body of the student was found near Mother Dairy. It cannot be said yet whether rape has taken place or not. It seems that after the murder, the body was brought from some other place and thrown.
Dead body thrown on Etawah-Saifai Highway
A first year ANM student at Saifai’s Para Medical College was murdered and her body was thrown on the Etawah-Saifai highway. There was panic after a bloodied body was found on the side of the divider. It took hours to identify the deceased as nothing like purse or mobile was found. No one saw the accident happening, hence the suspicion of murder is being raised. On receiving information about the incident, paramedical students gathered. Started siege of Trauma Center. About 10 kilometers away from Saifai Medical University, passersby saw the dead body of the girl lying on the bank of the divider near the canal bridge. Vaidpura police station was informed about the incident.
When the team that reached the spot saw the white coat, it was suspected that the girl might be a medical student. The police took the body to the mortuary of the district hospital. Investigation of the incident from all angles
SSP Sanjay Verma told that the student had given her mobile to her friend and had gone out of the hostel in the evening with a young man named Mahendra. After this, at around 7.30 pm his body was found lying on the road in Vaidpura area. The student was murdered or some other untoward incident took place. This is being investigated. He said that there was no blood where the body was found. Therefore, there is a suspicion that the body was thrown here after the crime was committed somewhere else. According to the SSP, the friend has also been interrogated. The student’s family has been informed.
