There is a stir in the police department after a sensational case of rape of a female constable has come to light in Jalaun district of UP. A woman constable posted in the district has been raped by the constable posted with her. The victim woman constable informed the higher officials about this incident, after which on the complaint of the woman constable, the police registered a case against the accused constable and started action.

The incident took place at Nadigaon police station, 55 kilometers away from Orai headquarters, where a female constable has filed a rape case against constable Karmaveer Singh posted with her. The woman constable alleges that constable Karmaveer, who was posted with her, raped her several times. Whenever she tried to complain about the incident, the constable threatened to kill her. But after the transfer of accused constable Karmaveer, the victim woman constable reported the incident to the higher authorities, after which a case was registered in Nadigaon police station.

The complaint was not due to fear

Constable Karmaveer, currently posted in the police line, was recently posted at Nadigaon police station where he had committed rape with a female constable. The woman told that both were posted in the same police station, during which time they grew close and taking advantage of the opportunity, the accused police constable raped her several times. The woman constable told the police that whenever she opposed the accused constable, he threatened to kill her. In the woman’s complaint, police officials have also been informed that the accused police constable is married. The woman constable did not complain for a long time due to fear. After the transfer of the accused, the woman presented the entire matter before the police officers.

Regarding the incident, Jalaun Superintendent of Police Dr. Iraj Raja said that on the basis of the complaint of the female constable, a case was registered against the accused constable and the concerned police station was ordered to investigate.
