In Bihar Seats divided in NDA, BJP-17, JDU-16 will contest elections, Pashupati Paras’ hands empty

Seats have been divided in NDA for the Lok Sabha elections in Bihar. Chirag Paswan’s Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) will contest elections on five seats. BJP’s Bihar in-charge Vinod Tawde held a press conference with NDA leaders and announced all the seats of the NDA alliance. He said that the formula was discussed and all the parties involved in the NDA alliance have accepted it.
According to the formula that has been decided, BJP will contest elections on 17 seats while JDU will contest elections on 16 seats. Chirag Paswan’s party has been given 5 seats, Manjhi’s party Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) has been given 1 seat and Upendra Kushwaha’s party has been given 1 seat. The thing to note is that Pashupati Paras’s Lok Jan Shakti Party has not got a single seat in this. A few days ago, Paras had hinted at rebellion and said that he had options open to him.
BJP will contest elections on these seats
West Champaran, East Champaran, Aurangabad, Madhubani, Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur, Maharajganj, Saran, Ujiarpur, Begusarai, Nawada, Patna Sahib, Patliputra, Arrah, Buxur, Sasaram and Araria.
These seats came to JDU’s account
Balmiki Nagar, Sitamarhi, Jhanjharpur, Supaul, Kishanganj, Katihar, Purnia, Madhepura, Gopalganj, Siwan, Bhagalpur, Banka, Munger, Nalanda, Jehanabad and Shivhar.
Chirag Paswan will contest elections on five seats
Vaishali, Hajipur, Samastipur, Khagaria and Jamui
Jitan Ram Manjhi’s party will contest elections from Gaya seat. Similarly, Upendra Kushwaha’s party will contest elections from Karkat Lok Sabha seat.
Chirag Paswan’s party leader Raju Tiwari said, ‘After talks with the top leadership of BJP, we have got five seats. I want to assure that we will not only win all the five seats but will win all the 40 seats in Bihar.
JDU leader Sanjay Jha, who was present during this time, said that this time there is a one-sided election in Bihar and NDA will win all 40 seats. Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister of the state and BJP leader Samrat Chaudhary said that the target is to win 40 seats in Bihar. Apart from the last three constituent parties, Jitan Ram Manjhi and Kushwaha ji’s RLM are also in NDA.
Elections will be held in seven phases in Bihar
Elections are to be held in seven phases in Bihar on 19 April, 26 April, 7 May, 13 May, 20 May, 25 May and 1 June. In the first phase, voting will be held on 4 seats of Bihar, in the second, third, fourth and fifth phase. Voting will take place on 5-5 seats. Apart from this, voting is to be held on 8-8 seats in the sixth and seventh phase.
NDA had won 39 seats in 2019
At the same time, in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, NDA (BJP, JDU and LJP) had won a landslide victory. NDA had won 39 out of 40 Lok Sabha seats in Bihar, while the Grand Alliance had only one Kishanganj seat in its account. On which the Congress candidate had won.
