BJP candidate from Garhwal Lok Sabha seat Anil Baluni reached Srinagar in Pauri district today while campaigning. On Tuesday, he sought votes for himself through a public meeting and road show in Kotdwar. On Wednesday, Anil Baluni conducted a road show between Khanda Shrikot and Srinagar in Srinagar. Thousands of people including hundreds of bike riding BJP workers participated in the road show. After a road show of about two hours, he appealed to the public to win all five Lok Sabha seats of Uttarakhand. During this, Cabinet Minister Dhan Singh Rawat and former Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat were present.
After the road show, BJP candidate Anil Baluni said that if he wins and goes to Parliament, his biggest focus will be on stopping migration. How to increase employment? The central and state governments will work together in this regard in the state. Speaking about the Congress candidate from Garhwal seat, he said that he will not make personal comments on any person. They are asking for votes from the public for development. The fort of Congress has collapsed. There is panic among the people living in that fort. People are leaving Congress and joining BJP. This shows how strong BJP is and Congress is becoming weak in the entire country.
At the same time, Cabinet Minister Dhan Singh Rawat said that the Central and State Governments have written a new story of development in Uttarakhand. Chardham Yatra route has been improved. The work of Rishikesh-Karnprayag rail line is also being done with great speed. Through this railway line, travel will get new dimensions in the future. There will also be an increase in business, due to which people’s income will also be doubled. He further said, development work is being done honestly in Srinagar for the last 7 years. Villages have been connected by roads. New drinking water schemes have also been made. In view of these development works, the public is going to offer ‘lotus flower’ to the Garhwal Lok Sabha seat.
