Uttarakhand: ‘BJP got upset due to fear of defeat in Pauri, sent me income tax notice, Congress candidate Godiyal got angry after the summons

Income Tax Department has issued summons to Congress Party’s Garhwal parliamentary seat candidate and former party state president Ganesh Godiyal from Thane, Maharashtra. He has been personally summoned to the Maharashtra IT office on March 22.

After receiving the summons, Ganesh Godiyal, while holding a press conference at the Congress State Headquarters in Dehradun, fiercely attacked the Central Government. He said that Lok Sabha elections are going on in Uttarakhand and in view of its defeat, the BJP government has come down to a bad mentality. He said that the BJP government at the Center has been notorious for misusing central agencies to discourage its rivals, and in this context, summons were issued in the name of him, his wife and the firm on March 19 from the IT office in Thane, Maharashtra. Have gone and have been asked to appear in person on March 22 at 11:30 am.

Godiyal said that now when Congress candidates are maintaining a one-sided lead in all the surveys coming from Garhwal Lok Sabha constituency, at the same time, efforts are being made to entangle them during the elections. Godiyal said that this action has been taken because BJP’s efforts are not succeeding.
Godiyal accused BJP
Godiyal says that he is a follower of Bhagat Singh and he is a follower of Savarkar. He did not do anything against the Constitution of India during his lifetime, but the central government has been misusing central agencies like ED, CBI to crush its political rivals. All this is being done to him because the Central Government does not want him to win from Garhwal Lok Sabha constituency. But this is the war of the people of Garhwal which will be fought till the last moment. He said that BJP is trying to engage them by creating new issues. Godiyal has asked his chartered accountants and lawyers to answer this.
