72 years of election history, no leader went to this village to ask for votes

It is election season and leaders are going to every house in the village or city and appealing for votes for themselves. Something like this is seen in every election season. But do you know that there is a village in the country where till date no leader has reached to ask for votes. This village is not located in any other state of the country but in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. The surprising thing is that many people here have not even seen any MP or MLA till date.
In 72 years of electoral history no one came to ask for votes
A village where no one has ever come to ask for votes. This village is not located far away in Uttarakhand but at a short distance from the capital Dehradun. Till date no one has reached Udanwa village of Chakrata in Dehradun district to ask for votes. The first Lok Sabha elections in the country were held in 1952. Since then, there has been an electoral history of about 72 years but from Lok Sabha to Assembly elections till date, not a single candidate has approached this village. The surprising thing is that many elders of the village have never even seen the face of an MP or an MLA.
Udanwa village falls in Tehri Lok Sabha constituency
Let us tell you that Udanwa village comes under Tehri Lok Sabha constituency. As soon as the election season begins, candidates are running to seek votes. But amidst all this, Udanwa village of Tehri Lok Sabha constituency remains an exception. Even after seven decades, no one has come here to ask for votes. But despite this the villagers vote.
Even after so much time has passed, the residents of the village have not seen the candidates for the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections. Actually, to reach this village one has to climb a steep slope of ten kilometers. Despite this, the villagers vote every time but still there is no one to listen to them.
Even basic facilities are not available to the village people
The people of the village say that there is no movement regarding the elections in their village. For so many years, no candidate from any party came to his village to ask for votes. Villagers say that they have to struggle to go to vote. They do not want to go to vote but they vote only so that their name is not removed from the voter list. Villagers say that even basic facilities are not available to them. Due to which they have to face problems every day.
Many elders have not seen the face of their MLA and MP
Due to such attitude of the leaders, people are not enthusiastic about the elections. The villagers say that whether it is Lok Sabha or Assembly elections, no candidate ever came here to ask for votes. Due to which the situation is such that many elders of the village have not even seen the face of their MLA and MP.
