BJP will not field its candidates in Manipur, Nagaland, In-charge Patra gave information
The BJP on Friday announced support to regional parties in Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The party will support the ruling National People’s Party (NPP) in both the Lok Sabha seats in Meghalaya and the Naga People’s Front (NPF) in one of the two parliamentary seats in Manipur.
The BJP will support Nagaland’s ruling party Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) in Nagaland’s lone Lok Sabha seat. In the upcoming parliamentary election, the BJP will support NPP candidates in both seats in Meghalaya (Shillong and Tura), NPF in the Outer Manipur constituency and NDPP in Nagaland, BJP in-charge of the Northeast region Sambit Patra posted on X.
BJP will support NCP (Ajit Pawar) in Lakshadweep
BJP will support Ajit Pawar-led NCP in Lakshadweep parliamentary constituency. NCP’s Ajit faction has not yet announced its candidate for this seat. BJP’s National General Secretary Vinod Tawde gave this information by posting on ‘X’. Mohammad Faisal, associated with NCP Sharad Pawar faction, won the Lakshadweep seat in the last Lok Sabha elections.
