CBSE canceled recognition of 20 schools from many states including UP, Uttarakhand, read the complete list here

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has canceled the recognition of 20 schools across the country, including Dehradun’s Gyan Einstein International School, for admitting dummy students and ineligible students. Also three schools have been downgraded. In the letter issued by CBSE, it was said that during the surprise inspection conducted to check the provisions and norms in CBSE affiliated schools across the country, it was found that the records were not maintained properly in some schools.
Somewhere dummy student, somewhere wrongly admitted
In this investigation, some schools had dummy students and many schools gave admission wrongly. Student records were also not maintained properly in these schools. After a thorough investigation, the board has canceled the recognition of 20 schools and downgraded three schools. The board has also released the list of these schools.
Schools from UP to Chhattisgarh are also included
CBSE Dehradun Region Regional Officer Gopal Dutt said that out of the schools whose recognition has been cancelled, five are from Delhi, three from Uttar Pradesh, two each from Kerala, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra, while one each from Jammu-Kashmir, Dehradun, Assam and Madhya Pradesh. Schools are included. The downgraded schools are from Delhi, Punjab and Assam.
