CSK vs RCB: Chennai shines again in Chepauk, beats Bengaluru by 6 wickets

In the first match of IPL 2024, Chennai Super Kings defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 6 wickets. Once again RCB failed to defeat Chennai at its home ground Chepauk. Chennai started IPL 2024 with a win. The last time Bengaluru defeated Chennai on their home ground was in 2008.

Chennai shines again in Chepauk (CSK vs RCB)
After winning the toss in the first match of IPL 2024, RCB team decided to bat first. Where he scored 173 runs after losing six wickets in 20 overs. Chennai bowlers troubled RCB batsmen a lot in the middle. However, thanks to the partnership of 95 runs in 50 balls between Dinesh Karthik and Anuj Rawat, the team managed to score a respectable total. After which the Chennai team, which came to chase the target, achieved the target by losing 4 wickets in just 18.4 overs. Due to which CSK won the match by 6 wickets.

Mustafizur Rahman’s bowling was excellent
Talking about Chennai’s batting, Shivam Dubey scored the highest score of 38*. Which includes 5 fours and one six. So if we talk about bowling, Mustafizur Rahman took the maximum of four wickets. During this, Jadeja also troubled the RCB batsmen a lot with his bowling.

Ravindra-Sivam led the team to victory
Chennai Super Kings team had a good start to chase the target. There was a partnership of 38 runs between captain Ruturaj Gaikwad and Rachin Ravindra. After which Ruturaj had to lose his wicket in the fourth over. After which there was a partnership of 33 runs between Rachin and Rahane. Rahane was out after scoring 27 runs with the help of 2 sixes. After which Daryl Mitchell returned to the pavilion after scoring 22 runs. Ravindra Jadeja and Shivam Dubey played till the end and led the team to victory. Where Shivam Dubey remained unbeaten after scoring 38 and Jadeja remained unbeaten after scoring 25.

RCB bowlers disappointed
RCB’s bowling was disappointing in yesterday’s match. In which only Green took 2 wickets for 27 runs in 3 overs. Apart from this, Yash Dayal and Karn Sharma got 1 success each. Apart from this, no bowler was successful in taking wickets.
