Defense Minister Rajnath Singh celebrated Holi with soldiers in Leh, Ladakh

The Union Defense Minister reached Leh in the Union Territory of Ladakh to celebrate Holi with the soldiers. The Defense Minister was welcomed by Ladakh Lieutenant Governor BD Mishra and senior officials of the administration and army at Leh airport. Army Chief Manoj Pandey has also arrived along with Rajnath Singh.

The Defense Minister laid a wreath at the Hall of Fame in Leh remembering the soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice to protect the country. He celebrated Holi with the soldiers. After applying gulal to them, they also fed them sweets. So that the citizens of the country can celebrate Holi safely in their homes, brave soldiers are deployed on the borders to protect the country. In such a situation, the Defense Minister reached here to boost their morale. Celebrating the festival of Holi, the soldiers splashed a lot of gulal and also fed each other sweets.
Siachen, the world’s highest battlefield
Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh was scheduled to celebrate Holi with the soldiers at Siachen, the world’s highest battlefield, on Sunday. But due to change in weather he had to change his Siachen tour. Let us tell you that Siachen Glacier, located at an altitude of about 20 thousand feet in the Karakoram Range, is known as the world’s highest militarized area, where soldiers have to struggle with freezing cold and strong winds.
