Uttar Pradesh / Meerut: Short circuit occurred during mobile charging, 4 innocent people died in house fire

Four children died and their parents were injured when a house in Pallavapuram area of Meerut caught fire due to a short circuit while the mobile was being charged. Police sources said on Sunday that a fire broke out in the house of a person named Joni in Janta Colony of Pallavapuram police station area due to short circuit while the mobile phone was being charged on Saturday night. He told that the fire took such a serious form in no time, in which Jony, his wife Babita and four children Sarika (10), Niharika (8), Sanskaar alias Golu (6) and Kalu (4) got seriously burnt.

He told that everyone was admitted to the medical college where Niharika and Golu died late in the night while Sarika and Kalu died on Sunday morning. Sources said that Johnny’s condition is out of danger but in view of Babita’s critical condition, she has been referred to Delhi AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences). Johnny told that Niharika, Golu and Kalu were playing games on mobile and during this time the mobile was also being charged. The bus was burnt in Ghazipur
