Uttarakhand: Big blow to Congress again, Deepak Balutia resigns from the party, became emotional while giving resignation letter

Due to being ignored for the ticket in the Lok Sabha elections, Congress state spokesperson Deepak Balutia has resigned from the Congress party. Here he has given his resignation to Uttarakhand Congress state in-charge Kumari Selja and state president Karan Mehra. It is noteworthy that Congress Party has made former National Secretary of Congress Party Prakash Joshi its candidate from Nainital Udham Singh Nagar Lok Sabha seat.

After the resignation, Deepak Balutiya said that with a very heavy heart and due to the voice of my conscience, I am forced to resign from the Congress Party. Being a loyal soldier of Congress, I have been continuously raising public issues along with public service for 35 years. I want to serve the society in a better way. I have been my inspiration and want to serve the society by following the ideals of the development man Late Narayan Dutt Tiwari, the beloved leader of Uttarakhand, along with his development, but taking his legacy forward, but in Congress, I feel like a student who has worked very hard. But he was never allowed to sit for the examination.

I feel very sad for my colleagues who have been selflessly associated with me and have been struggling along with me. As per my capacity and my resources, I have tried my best to serve the public to the best of my ability and to know and understand the public issues. Let me put it before the government. I believe that the public can be served better by reaching a constitutional milestone, but instead of giving the opportunity, the Congress Party ignored it all the time. When any grassroots worker of any party works for the party on the ground and the top leaders of the party ignore you instead of respecting the struggle and work done by you, then it hurts a lot. Despite all the deadlocks and demoralization in the party, you continue to work. It is not easy to do, yet I have been serving as a diligent worker and loyal soldier for 35 years.

I wholeheartedly apologize to all those well-wishers and friends who have been supporting me in my journey of struggle for this self-determination and assure that my struggle for public issues will continue.
