Uttarakhand: BJP MLA violates code of conduct by protesting, case registered against 150 including MLA

The Election Commission has taken cognizance of violating the code of conduct against 150 leaders including BJP MLAs. Let us tell you that BJP MLAs along with their workers had sat on a dharna outside the district hospital demanding the release of four people arrested in the assault case and accusing them of one-sided action.
Case of violation of code of conduct
Let us tell you that on Friday there was an altercation between a shopkeeper and a bike rider regarding the removal of goods kept on the road in Jwalapur. After this the matter turned into a fight. Since the matter was related to different communities, the police arrested four people including a shopkeeper in the case of assault and took them to the police station and all four were challaned for disturbing the peace.
Meanwhile, BJP MLA from Ranipur Aadesh Chauhan had reached Kotwali with his supporters. He had talked about leaving all four people at the police station. Meanwhile, the workers sat in the office in the Kotwali premises itself. The police started taking all four people to present them in the court. BJP MLAs also sat in the auto and went with him.

All the people were taken to the district hospital for medical treatment. During this time BJP leaders also reached there. Hundreds of workers, including BJP MLA Adesh Chauhan and BJP district president, sat on a dharna outside the hospital premises and raised slogans accusing the police administration of unilateral action.
Case registered against 150 workers including BJP MLA
The Election Commission has taken cognizance of the matter. After which a case has been registered in the city police station against 150 people including the BJP MLA under relevant sections including violation of the code of conduct. SSP Pramendra Doval said that the matter is being investigated.
