Left her husband and ran away with her lover
Let us tell you that Channa Nishad, a resident of Majra Karena Dera of Kaithi Gram Panchayat of the police station area, was married to Rekha (45), a resident of Sandi village of Pailani police station area of Banda district. Both of them have three girls and two boys. The elder daughter got married three years ago. Due to poverty, Channa Nishad used to stay outside and work as a labourer.
Four years ago, he had gone to Bidhanu in Kanpur with his wife and children to harvest paddy. Here Rekha gave her heart to Sukhbir Yadav, a young man half her age. Despite her husband’s prohibition, Rekha’s contact with Sukhbir did not stop. Last year, on December 18, Rekha sold 70 thousand rupees received in the second installment of the Divyang Awas Yojana, Channa’s Divyang Pension and goat and left the house with jewelery and a total of more than one lakh cash on the pretext of going to the market.
When the wife did not reach home, the husband went to the police station to file a case, but was stopped by the police. Tired and defeated, Channa appealed to the Sadar MLA. On which, after the intervention of Sadar MLA, the police registered a case of kidnapping against unknown on 25th December. But promptness was not shown in recovery.
Creepy end of love story
The result was that Sukhbir, in order to save his life from his girlfriend Rekha, took her away from home on the night of 22nd December, strangled her to death and then burnt her body. By the time the police became active after her husband repeatedly visited the police station, everything was over.

In this case, SP Dr. Deeksha Sharma said that the murderer has been caught with the help of surveillance. He has confessed to murder and burning the dead body. Burnt remains of the dead body have been recovered from the incident site. The police has sent the murdered lover to jail.
