Uttarakhand: BJP showed strength in the nomination rally, Smriti Irani and CM Dhami came in support of the candidates
BJP candidate from Tehri Lok Sabha seat Mala Rajyalakshmi Shah Lakshmi and BJP candidate from Garhwal seat Anil Baluni filed their nomination for the Lok Sabha elections. During this, BJP showed its strength in the nomination rally. Union Minister Smriti Irani and CM Dhami came in support of the candidates.
Three candidates of BJP and Congress contesting the Lok Sabha elections filed their nomination today. BJP candidate from Tehri Mala Rajyalakshmi Shah Lakshmi and BJP candidate from Garhwal seat Anil Baluni along with Congress’s Jot Singh Gunsola from Tehri Lok Sabha filed their nominations. Many leaders including State President Karan Mahara were also present in the nomination of Congress candidate Gunsola.
On reaching Ransi from Pauri, Union Minister Smriti Irani was welcomed by Cabinet Minister Dhan Singh Rawat. Here BJP candidate Anil Baluni had reached the headquarters to file nomination papers. Apart from Union Minister Smriti Irani, many BJP leaders including former Chief Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Garhwal MP Tirath Rawat, Cabinet Minister Subodh Uniyal reached the nomination in support of Baluni.
