A woman who had come to Piran Kaliyar Dargah to pay her respects with her husband, jumped from the steel girder bridge into Nai Ganganahar. The body of the woman was recovered from Asafnagar Jhal on Monday.

According to the information received, on Sunday night, Shabina (25), resident of Jandarpur Kotwali village, Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, had come to visit the Dargah with her husband Aftab and in-laws. It is being told that the mental condition of the woman is not good. Late at night everyone was sleeping together. After some time the family members opened their eyes and saw that the woman was not there.

Woman jumped into Ganganahar
The family members went here and there in search of the woman. Meanwhile, the woman jumped from the steel girder bridge into New Ganganahar. People passing by raised an alarm but by then the woman was swept away by the strong current of the canal and went missing. After receiving information about the incident, the police team reached the spot.

Woman’s body recovered from Asafnagar Jhal
Police started the rescue operation of the woman. On Monday, the woman was recovered from Asafnagar Jhal with the help of divers in Ganganahar. After the incident, the family members are in bad condition and crying.
