Earthquake In Fiji: Fiji shaken by strong earthquake tremors, intensity measured 6.4 on Richter scale
A 6.4 magnitude earthquake struck Suva, Fiji early this morning. The National Center for Seismology said the earthquake was quite strong. The depth of the earthquake was measured at 10 km and the epicenter was 591 km southwest of Suva in Fiji.
“The 6.4 magnitude earthquake occurred on Wednesday (March 27), Latitude: -21.21, Longitude: 173.85, Depth: 10 km, Location: 591 km South West of Suva, Fiji,” NCS said in a post on X.
The National Center for Seismology (NCS) is the nodal agency of the Government of India for monitoring earthquake activity.
No casualties have been reported so far. More details are awaited.
