Israel Hamas War: Israel dropped bombs on Gaza overnight, 18 people including 8 children died
The fight between Israel and Hamas is not stopping. While Israel has vowed to destroy Hamas on the ground, Hamas fighters are also not ready to lay down their weapons in this battlefield. The Israeli army killed dozens of Palestinians on both ends of the Gaza Strip with air strikes throughout Tuesday night. At the same time, the area around Al Shifa Hospital in the north and Rafah on the southern end were also targeted, where more than one million people have taken refuge.
In the north of the Gaza Strip, where fierce fighting has been raging for more than a week around Al Shifa, members of the Hasira family told Reuters that dozens of people were killed in an attack that wiped out a compound near Gaza’s largest hospital. “This is a new massacre against the families of Abu Suheil Abu Hasira and his children and grandchildren, about 30 people in total,” family member Abu Ali Abu Hasira said in a text message to Reuters.

Israel says it has killed hundreds of Hamas fighters and arrested many fighters who were using the hospital as shields. Hamas and medical staff deny that fighters were present in the hospital. In the south, where more than half of Gaza’s 2.3 million people are sheltering in Rafah against the border fence with Egypt. Health officials said 18 people, including eight children, were killed in an attack on the home of the Abu Naqaira family.
Blankets and children’s clothes were found scattered among the rubble on Tuesday morning. While relatives removed the rubble to take out the belongings, family members were crying looking at the dead bodies kept in the morgue of a nearby hospital.
