On Wednesday, a massive fire suddenly broke out in a house in Kothra village of the far northern Karakot belt of the block. There was panic in the village due to the fire. The fire spread rapidly in all four rooms of the house. The fire was so terrible that all the things kept in the house were burnt to ashes.
Everything got destroyed in the fire
A sudden fire broke out in a house on Wednesday in Kothra village of far northern Karakot Patti block of Chamoli district. It is fortunate that there were no casualties in the fire incident. Suddenly a fire broke out in the house and the fire spread rapidly and engulfed four rooms of the house. Due to which all the stuff kept in the house got burnt to ashes.
The family was not in the house when the fire broke out
According to the information received, the landlord Yogambar Singh had gone to a nearby village on the night of the incident. For this reason, his wife Manju Devi had gone to sleep at a neighbor’s house with her two children and due to this, her and the children’s lives were saved. The villagers tried to control the fire but by then everything was burnt to ashes.
