Banks will remain closed on Friday, will open this Saturday-Sunday

If you have any important work related to the bank, then complete it immediately. Banks are going to remain closed tomorrow i.e. Friday. During this time your important work may get stuck. However, banks are going to remain open on Saturday, March 30 and Sunday, March 31. But not all banks will be open this Sunday, only those banks will open where tax collection work will be done. The Reserve Bank of India has directed to keep these banks open for tax deposit. Banks are going to remain closed in many states on Good Friday, March 29. According to the holiday list of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), banks are going to remain closed in all the states except Tripura, Assam, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Srinagar on Good Friday.

These services will continue
Banks may be closed on Good Friday but online services will continue. If you have any bank related work then you can complete it through online services sitting at home. Despite the bank holiday, ATMs will remain open and all online services will continue. You can also make digital payment through credit and debit cards.

Will banks open on 31st March?
This month, many banks are going to remain open on Sunday, March 31. This is the last day of the current financial year. According to RBI, the Government of India has directed to keep all branches of banks related to government receipts and payments open for transactions on March 31. The financial year ends on 31 March. Therefore, the holidays of the employees of the concerned banks have been canceled on this day. The new financial year 2024-25 will start from 1 April 2024.

All government transactions are recorded at the end of the financial year. RBI has asked agency banks to remain open. Agency banks are the ones in which all government transactions are done. Agency banks will remain open as usual. Along with National Electronic Funds Transfer, real time gross settlement facilities will also continue.
