After the coordination committee meeting held in Chandigarh on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Himachal Congress in-charge Rajeev Shukla, Congress state president and MP Pratibha Singh has said that she has orders from the party that she will have to contest elections from Mandi parliamentary seat. This statement of Pratibha indicates clarity on her contesting elections from Mandi. In the Chandigarh meeting, the grievances of the government and the organization were resolved. Possible candidates were discussed. Party leaders have indicated to elect a surprise candidate from Hamirpur parliamentary seat. Now on April 5 and 6, there will be a brainstorming session in New Delhi to decide the names of the candidates. On the other hand, it has also been agreed to send names to the coordination committee and seek approval before appointments in the government and the organization. The committee will meet every 15 days.

There was also discussion about the leaders coming from BJP
Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, Pratibha Singh, Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, Cabinet Minister Dhaniram Shandil, former ministers Kaul Singh Thakur and Ramlal Thakur were present in the meeting.
