After BJP, Uttarakhand Congress has also finalized the list of star campaigners on the basis of demand and sent it to All India Congress Committee. Leaders like former national president of the party Sonia Gandhi, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, Randeep Surjewala, Sachin Pilot can come to Uttarakhand and hold public meetings in favor of the party candidates.
According to party leaders, the Congress party will announce star campaigners within a day or two. According to Congress State General Secretary Naveen Joshi, the BJP list has been released today, but the star campaigners of the Congress Party are already visiting Uttarakhand. He said that All India National Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has come to Dehradun and addressed a huge public meeting. He said that a demand has been made to Congress for young faces as star campaigners from farmer dominated areas, keeping this in mind the list has been finalized and sent to AICC.
