Uttarakhand / Haridwar: Dead body of young man found hanging in hotel room, sensation spread, police engaged in investigation
The body of a youth from Meerut, who was staying in a hotel room in Haridwar’s Nagar Kotwali area, was found hanging. After receiving information about the incident, the police team reached the spot. The police have taken the body of the deceased into their custody. There has been sensation in the area after the incident.
Dead body found hanging in hotel room
The incident is said to have happened on Friday. The deceased has been identified as Priyanshu (20), son of Sushil Kumar, resident of Meerut. According to the information, the young man had taken a room in the hotel on Thursday. On Friday morning, the hotel staff informed the police about the young man not being removed from the room.
There was a stir due to the death of a young man
After receiving the information the police team reached the spot. When the police looked inside through the window, they saw the dead body of the young man hanging from the noose. After which the police broke the door and reached inside and brought down the body. But by then the young man had died.
Police engaged in investigation
The police have taken the body into their custody and sent it for post-mortem. No suicide note has been found from the spot. At present the police has started investigating the matter.
