Randeep Hooda had to face financial crisis for ‘Swatantrya Veer Savarkar’, sold his house, fainted several times on the set due to stress

Randeep Hooda’s much awaited film Swatantrya Veer Savarkar has hit the theatres. Even if the film is not doing well at the box office. But Randeep has received a lot of praise for his performance in this film. The actor has played the character of Savarkar very well on the big screen.

Wanted to release the film last year
Recently, during a conversation with the media, Randeep told that he was planning to release his film on 26 January or 15 August last year. But he could not do this. Randeep told that he gave his everything on this film. Earlier the team associated with this project had only the aim of making the film. And we wanted to make a great film.

Randeep Hooda had to face financial crisis
The actor told that money flowed like water in making Swatantra Veer Savarkar. Due to which he had to face financial crisis. He told that his father had bought 2-3 properties for him in Mumbai. The actor sold it and invested the money he got in the film. I did everything for the film but did not get anyone’s support.

Randeep Hooda lost 60 kg weight
Randeep Hooda did a surprising transformation for this film. Randeep told that he lost 60 kg weight for Savarkar. But the real struggle was in maintaining that weight during the difficulties in production. Also, directing a film without eating was quite challenging for the actor. Due to which he had become very weak. He had also stopped sleeping. He used to faint many times on the set. While making that film, he was under so much stress that even sleeping pills had no effect on him.
