Congress’s ‘One Note-One Vote’ campaign started, leaders asked for Rs 1 each from people

As Lok Sabha elections 2024 approach, political parties have started contacting the public in their own ways. One such unique method has also been seen in Madhya Pradesh. The Madhya Pradesh unit of Congress on Sunday launched ‘One Note-One Vote’ campaign seeking donations to contest the Lok Sabha elections. The party has also claimed that the central government has banned transactions from its bank accounts, due to which it does not have money.

Allegation of freezing bank accounts

Madhya Pradesh Congress President Jitu Patwari has said that the move to freeze Congress’s bank accounts after the implementation of the Model Code of Conduct is aimed at weakening his party financially before the elections. Let us tell you that after the Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Congress has made changes in the state unit and has appointed Jitu Patwari as the new president. Patwari is considered a special leader of Rahul Gandhi.

Candidates asked for Rs 1 each

Madhya Pradesh Congress started One Note-One Vote campaign at Roshanpura intersection in Bhopal. Here, party candidate from Bhopal Arun Srivastava and Jabalpur candidate Dinesh Yadav, carrying boxes in their hands, asked for one rupee from each person and requested them to cast one vote. Congress candidates from other seats in Madhya Pradesh also took part in the campaign.

Congress got relief

The troubled Congress party has got a big relief in the matter of notice sent by Income Tax during the Lok Sabha elections. The Income Tax Department has given a statement in the Supreme Court that it will not take any drastic steps to recover Rs 1700 crore from the Congress party during the Lok Sabha elections. According to the information, the Income Tax Department says that it does not want to create trouble for any party during the elections. Congress party is expected to get relief after this statement of the department.
