Uttar Pradesh: Cyber fraud is not stopping, now fraudsters duped a drug dealer of Rs 7 lakh
Drug dealer Shailesh Asthana, resident of Ajay Vihar Colony, Taktakpur, Varanasi, was duped of Rs 7 lakh by cyber fraudsters. On the basis of Shailesh’s complaint regarding the matter, a case has been registered in the cyber crime police station.
Shailesh told the police that he had opened a demat account through the website of Forex Global. He first invested Rs 10,000. Forex Global organized trading activities in their favor and showed profits. After this it was suggested to invest further for more profit.
On this he also opened an account on the same website in his wife’s name. Falling in the trap of the website representatives, he invested around Rs 7 lakh. When he asked for returns, he did not even get his principal amount leave alone the dividend. A case has been registered by the Cyber Crime Police Station and the investigation has been handed over to Inspector Rajkishore Pandey.
