Weather changed again in Uttarakhand, snowfall in Hemkund including Kedarnath and Badrinath; increased cold

The weather has changed once again in Uttarakhand. Now snowfall has started once again. Due to change in the weather on Saturday, there was snowfall at high altitude places including Kedarnath, however the weather cleared in the afternoon. Mild cold was felt due to snowfall and rain. Light snowfall occurred at high altitude places including Kedarnath Dham, Tungnath, Madmaheshwar, Panwalikantha since early Saturday morning. Whereas it rained in the low lying areas including the district headquarters Rudraprayag, due to which the weather became cool.

The weather seems to be changing every moment

Changes in weather are continuously visible in the mountains. Where the cold increased due to rain and snowfall, common people once again wore warm clothes, however in the afternoon the weather once again changed, the weather cleared and the sun shone.

Snowfall in Char Dham also

The rain since last night continued till Saturday afternoon. However, the weather cleared and remained sunny in the afternoon. Due to rain since last night, there has been snowfall in Shri Badrinath Dham, Hemkund Sahib, Auli, Gauras. Since early Saturday morning, there has been rain in the lower areas of Chamoli district and snowfall in the higher peaks including Shri Badrinath Dham, Hemkund Sahib, Auli, Gaurson.

Work disrupted once again

However, in the afternoon the weather changed again and the weather remained sunny. Due to which the snow in Auli and Gauras along with the high peaks has started melting. At the same time, the works being conducted under the master plan in Shri Badrinath Dham are also being disrupted due to rain and snowfall.
