While the excitement of Lok Sabha elections is slowly gaining momentum, the ongoing suspense regarding nomination has come to an end today. There was a lot of talk about Uday Singh alias Pappu Singh, a two-time MP from Purnia Lok Sabha constituency, contesting the elections, but he himself put an end to it on Monday.

In a press conference held at his residence, Pappu Singh said that he is pained by the current situation in Purnia, yet he will not contest elections from here. He also expressed dissatisfaction with the decision of NDA, terming the present leadership here as incompetent.

At the same time, Congress was also put in the dock and said that concrete decisions were not taken. Said that he will continue to serve the people here by joining Jansuraj. Former MP Pappu Singh is considered to have deep influence in the Lok Sabha constituency.

Said that he was hopeful that this time NDA would hand over the command to a good candidate, but once again he was disappointed.

He said that the condition of Congress party is also the same. Without naming anyone, he said that due to the indecision of the party, there is a situation of confusion here, which can cause harm to the Grand Alliance.

His struggle for the development of Purnia will continue
He said that the people here are repeatedly urging him to contest the elections as an independent candidate, but it is not so easy. Said that he is not contesting the elections but will join Jan Suraj and run a campaign in the entire Seemanchal to serve the people here. During this time his son was also present with him.

The former MP said that the last three months during his political career had been very difficult. Hundreds of phone calls and questions asked by the people here kept troubling him. He said that his struggle for the development of Purnia will continue.
