Let us tell you that on March 14, the Supreme Court had rejected the curative petition of AAP leader Manish Sisodia, in which he had challenged the decision of the apex court to reject his bail plea in the Delhi liquor scam case. Rejecting the curative petition filed by the former Deputy Chief Minister, the Supreme Court bench of Chief Justice DY Chandrachud, Justice Sanjeev Khanna, BR Gavai and SVN Bhatti had said that no case is made out.
Earlier in December 2023, the Supreme Court had rejected Sisodia’s plea seeking review of its October 30 decision rejecting his bail pleas in money laundering cases related to the Delhi liquor scam. The Supreme Court had refused to grant him bail, saying that the investigation agencies’ allegation that ‘windfall profit’ of Rs 338 crore by some wholesale distributors was ‘tentatively supported’ by evidence.
