Punjab: Had ordered online cake on her birthday, 10 year old girl died after eating it, health of family members also deteriorated

A very shocking case is coming to light from Patiala, Punjab. Where a family ordered a cake online on their birthday. A 10 year old girl died after eating it. Along with this, the health of the rest of the family who had eaten that cake also deteriorated. 10 year old girl died after eating cake
If reports are to be believed, this matter is from Patiala. Where Kajal, a resident of Aman Nagar, lodged a complaint with the police on March 25. Kajal told the police that March 24 was 10-year-old Manvi’s birthday. In such a situation, on the occasion of his birthday, he ordered a cake online at around six in the evening. Which was also delivered at around 6:30 pm.

At seven o’clock Manvi cut the cake. In such a situation, all the family members including Manvi ate the cake. Everyone’s health started deteriorating after eating the cake. Also started vomiting. Everyone slept after that at night. Waking up in the morning, the family saw that 10 year old Manvi’s body was lying cold. In such a situation, the girl was immediately taken to the hospital. Where the doctor declared the girl dead.

Cake pieces sent for testing
In the complaint, the girl died due to eating cake. The family members say that there is a possibility of some poisonous substance inside the cake. In such a situation, the post-mortem of the girl has been done. The pieces of the cake have been sent to FSL for examination. The police will take further action only after the report comes. A case has been registered against the bakery owner under sections 273 and 304A of IPC.
