The department had completed the design and drawing work for the construction of the center in the year 2020 itself. But its construction has now started.
Construction work started after four years
DPR worth Rs 4.87 crore was prepared for Snow Leopard Conservation Center and Cafeteria and DPR worth Rs 1.23 crore was prepared for Forest Department Facility Building. The first installment of Rs 49 lakh was also released for the construction of Suvidha Bhawan. Even the tender process had started. But even after this the project construction work was stuck. But the work has started four years now.
