Uttarakhand: Politics intensified after Ganesh Godiyal asked for financial help from the public, BJP called it an emotional card

As the date of Lok Sabha elections is coming closer, the problems of the Congress party are also increasing. So far, two notices have been issued by the Income Tax Department to the Congress High Command. In which a tax of Rs 3567 crore has been demanded from them. Work has also been done to seize the accounts of fellow Congressmen. Due to which Congress is now facing a lot of difficulties in providing funds and election campaign materials to its Lok Sabha candidates. Due to which now Ganesh Godiyal, candidate from Uttarakhand Pauri Lok Sabha seat, has released a video which has now become a topic of discussion.

The elections are not being fought by Congress but by the people
Ganesh Godiyal, who is facing financial crisis, has released a video on social media. In which Ganesh Godiyal has also released his bank account and QR code scanner among the public. Along with this, it has been appealed that as much help as possible should be provided by the public in this election and it has been appealed to the people of Garhwal that this election is not being fought by the Congress but by the people in which they need their support both in money and strength.

State Vice President Mathura Dutt Joshi has also supported Ganesh Godiyal’s video. He said that the elections of 2024 are being fought by the public and the way the Income Tax Department is continuously imposing penalty on penalty and accounts are being seized, that is why now the candidates have issued their scanner codes and Help is being sought from the public. In the coming time, all the candidates will release their scanner codes and will seek help from the public in the elections.

BJP takes a dig at Congress over donations
BJP seems to be taking a dig at Congress regarding the scanner issued by Congress candidates. BJP media in-charge Manveer Chauhan has called it a gimmick. He said that in the video released by Ganesh Godyal, he is trying to garner public sympathy.

If Ganesh Godiyal does not have money then why was he issued a notice by the Income Tax Department from Maharashtra. The notice of the Income Tax Department never comes to any general public. The notice is always issued to a person who is evading income tax somewhere and is involved in big dirty business.

Congress state president said this
Congress State President Karan Mahara has also reacted on this matter. State President said that if Ganesh Godyal asks for donations then it is his personal matter. Resources are required to contest Lok Sabha elections and if they are asking for donations from the people for whom they are contesting, then there is no problem in it, but BJP should answer regarding Electrol Bonds.
