Uttarakhand: Election Commission team will reach door to door from April 8, voting will be done in two phases through postal ballot.

The great festival of democracy will be started with the voting of the elderly and disabled people. The Election Commission team will reach every house from where earlier applications were made for voting from home. Let us tell you that in Nainital also on April 8, the elderly and disabled will be able to vote sitting at home only.

Amidst the preparations for the Lok Sabha general elections, the Election Department has now decided to conduct the voting process for voters above 85 years of age and disabled voters in two phases through postal ballot. Polling parties will go to the homes of voters who have applied for postal ballot and conduct their voting.

Election Commission team will reach door to door
Let us tell you that in the first phase this campaign will run on 8, 9 and 10 April. After this, postal ballots from the deprived voters will be taken in the second phase on 11, 12 and 13 April. Election Nodal Officer Vishal Mishra said that about 1555 voters have applied for postal ballot by filling 12D form.

Videography will be done in the voting process
