“According to RSS survey, BJP will not be able to win even 200 seats in the Lok Sabha elections,” claims Priyank Kharge
Karnataka government minister Priyank Kharge has made a big attack on BJP on Saturday. Priyank Kharge claimed that according to an internal survey of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will not be able to win even 200 seats in the Lok Sabha elections. Meanwhile, Kharge has also accused Union Home Minister Amit Shah of “lying” regarding the Karnataka government’s statement of delay in submitting the proposal to the Center seeking drought relief.
“This time even 200 seats will not be available”
Congress leader Kharge claimed, “According to the internal survey of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, the party (BJP) will not get even 200 seats this time. The union is saying this. In the state, they will not be able to cross even the 8 seat mark. How will they win, when there is an internal fight on 14-15 seats (in BJP). Let us tell you that BJP aims to win 370 seats in the country in this Lok Sabha elections, while the party claims that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the country. ) will win 400 seats. Whereas in Karnataka, BJP aims to win all the 28 Lok Sabha seats.
“They are fighting among themselves”
Kharge further said, “They (some BJP leaders) are saying that BJP (in the state) is polluted because of one family. They are saying that they want to restore the original form of BJP. Are we (Congress) saying this? No, they (BJP leaders) are saying so. They are also claiming that injustice is being done to Hindutva leaders like Basanagouda Patil Yatnal, CT Ravi, Ananthkumar Hegde, Eshwarappa in BJP. They are fighting amongst themselves, and Congress has not created this situation.”
Called Shah as ‘Minister of Misinformation’
During this, Kharge, a minister in the Karnataka government, accused Amit Shah of lying about drought relief to Karnataka and said that he should have been the ‘Misinformation Minister’. He said, “Is the Chief Minister’s meeting with the Prime Minister, Union Home Minister and Finance Minister (demanding relief) a lie? Is it a lie for the IMCT (Inter-Ministerial Central Team) to come here and conduct a survey and submit a report?
