SRH vs CSK: Hyderabad’s Abhishek Sharma played a stormy innings, Chennai’s losing streak continues

The 18th match of IPL 2024 will be played between Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH vs CSK). Where Hyderabad won this match by six wickets. Batting first, Chennai team put 165 runs on the board. Chasing the target, Hyderabad won the match by losing four wickets in the 17th over itself. Hyderabad’s Aiden Markram played an inning of fifty runs. So Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head gave a great start to the team. Abhishek also got the title of Player of the Match in the end.

While chasing the target, Hyderabad team’s Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma played brilliant innings. Abhishek played an inning of 37 runs in 12 balls. Which includes three fours and four sixes. So Head returned to the pavilion after scoring 31 runs. There was a partnership of 46 runs between the two. Hyderabad’s score till powerplay was 78/1. This is the third best score in powerplay in the history of IPL.
Markram’s half-century innings
Head and Abhishek gave the team a good and fast start. After which Markram added runs for the team. He scored 50 runs on 36 balls. Which includes four fours and one six. After which he was out. After which Shahbaz Ahmed also lost his wicket. Heinrich Klaasen scored 10 runs and Nitish Reddy finished the match for the team by scoring 14 runs. Both returned to the pavilion unbeaten.
CSK could not score big
After winning the toss, Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Pat Cummins decided to bowl. Chennai captain Ruturaj Gaikwad and Rachin Ravindra gave a good start to the team. Rachin scored 12 runs on nine balls. So Gaikwad got out after scoring 26 runs. After which Shivam Dubey and Ajinkya Rahane took over the innings. There was a half-century partnership between the two.
Dhoni came to play the last three balls
Shivam returned to the pavilion after scoring 45 runs in 24 balls. Ajinkya Rahane also scored 35 runs in 30 balls. All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja scored runs quickly and took the team’s score beyond 150. Mahendra Singh Dhoni came on the field to play the last three balls. Dhoni could score only one run on two balls. Whereas Ravindra Jadeja played an unbeaten inning of 31 runs.
