Uttarakhand: Massive fire broke out in Rishikesh police post campus, many vehicles burnt

A sudden fire broke out in the IDPL police post campus under Kotwali Rishikesh area. There was a stir early in the morning when old vehicles parked in the Chowki campus caught fire. The fire quickly engulfed five vehicles parked at the checkpoint.

On Saturday morning suddenly old vehicles parked in the IDPL police post campus under Kotwali Rishikesh area caught fire. The fire engulfed many vehicles. The fire brigade team was called. There were other vehicles parked on the campus which were saved.

Fire brigade team brought the fire under control
The policemen on duty informed the authorities about the fire. Let us tell you that IDPL police post is stationed in the campus after catching the vehicles used in various accidents and crimes and these vehicles caught fire. The number of vehicles is quite high. Let us tell you that at around 8:30 am on Saturday morning, there was fire in the vehicles parked in the campus. However, after receiving the information, the fire brigade team brought the fire under control.

The cause of the fire could not be known
According to the information received, more than five vehicles have been burnt to ashes due to the fire. According to outpost in-charge Jyoti Prasad Uniyal, old vehicles were parked in the campus which suddenly caught fire. He said that five old cars were damaged due to fire. The cause of the fire is not yet known. The reasons behind the fire are being investigated.
