Pakistan shaken by another terrorist attack, 6 security personnel and 12 terrorists killed

Pakistan’s troubled region Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has once again been shaken by a major terrorist attack. Terrorist incidents are being carried out continuously here. Let us inform that six security personnel including a senior police officer and 12 terrorists have been killed in the terrorist incidents and security operations that took place in the last two days in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan province. Officials gave this information on Sunday. Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan Armed Forces, said four terrorists have been killed in two incidents in Balochistan province.

ISPR said eight terrorists were killed during an operation conducted by security forces in Kot Sultan area of Kulachi tehsil in Dera Ismail Khan district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). He said that the security forces have recovered arms, ammunition and explosives from the slain terrorists. A Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and two policemen were killed while a constable was injured in twin terrorist attacks in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Lakki Marwat on Friday night, officials said. Officials said the DSP had set up a temporary post on the Peshawar-Karachi highway along with other police personnel to tighten security arrangements ahead of the Eid-ul-Fitr festival.

One DSP also died in terrorist attack
According to a news, when they were returning from the post, terrorists opened fire on the police vehicle near Manjiwala Chowk, killing DSP and constable Naseem Gul. According to a news in the newspaper ‘Dawn’, another attack took place in Sara Darga area on Friday night, in which unknown assailants opened fire on constable Sanamat Khan, due to which he died on the spot. According to the news, one police officer was killed and another was injured in an explosion in Mamund tehsil of Bajaur district on Saturday. According to this, a head constable was killed by unknown people near Mian Lal police post in Tank district on Saturday night. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned the attack on policemen in Lakki Marwat.
