Uttarakhand: Congress made him minister, MLA, also participated in star campaign, yet Agarwal joined BJP.

Senior Uttarakhand Congress leader and former cabinet minister Dinesh Aggarwal has joined BJP. Keeping in view the Lok Sabha elections, Congress had also made him a star campaigner. Earlier, Dinesh Aggarwal was also given the status of cabinet minister during the Congress tenure. The party also had to face the displeasure of a dynamic MLA like Mayukh Mehar when Agarwal was made a cabinet minister. Despite losing the assembly elections in 2017, Congress also made him contest the mayor’s election, expressing confidence in him. Even after all this, Dinesh Aggarwal has said goodbye to Congress.
While joining BJP, Dinesh Aggarwal said that he was not being given importance in the party. He also said that he was angry about all the decisions being taken during the Lok Sabha elections. Due to which he has resigned from the party. Speaking on Dinesh Aggarwal’s resignation, Congress State President Karan Mahara said that Dinesh Aggarwal should tell whether he does not want to know the name of Ankita’s VIP? He should clarify his stand on lathi charge on the unemployed, recruitment scams, Patwari paper leak, crimes against women.
The Congress Disciplinary Committee has expelled Dinesh Aggarwal and former Municipal Corporation Councilor Rajesh Parmar from the primary membership of the party for 6 years with immediate effect for their involvement in anti-party activities. Dinesh Aggarwal says that there was a lack of leadership in the Congress, hence he had to leave the party. In response to this, Karan Mahara said that Aggarwal kept working with the same leadership for many years, then he did not face any problem. Believing in Dinesh Aggarwal, Congress made him contest elections several times. He was given the status of cabinet minister. Even after this, if they are saying that they were not being given attention then nothing can be said.
Let us tell you that Dinesh Aggarwal has given a big blow to the party by leaving Congress. Dinesh Aggarwal has contested MLA elections seven times from Congress.
