Uttarakhand: Former cabinet minister Dinesh Aggarwal joined BJP, BJP state president gave him membership

Former cabinet minister Dinesh Aggarwal has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party. BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt gave party membership to Dinesh Agrawal. Many outgoing and former councilors also joined BJP along with Dinesh Agarwal.

Former cabinet minister Dinesh Aggarwal has joined BJP. BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt got him the membership of the party. During this, BJP’s Lok Sabha candidate from Haridwar Trivendra Rawat, former Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Rajya Sabha MP Naresh Bansal were also present. Defeated Nityananda Swami twice in a row

Let us tell you that in the years 1993 and 1996, Dinesh Aggarwal had contested elections from Dehradun assembly seat in Uttar Pradesh. But he lost to Harbans Kapoor. After the formation of the state, Dinesh Aggarwal defeated Nityanand Swami from Laxman Chowk seat twice in a row in 2002 and 2007.

After this, in the year 2012, he contested elections from Dharampur Assembly seat and became MLA by defeating Prakash Dhyani. After this, he had to defeat BJP’s Vinod Chamoli in the 2017 elections. In the year 2018, Agarwal contested the election of Mayor Municipal Corporation. But Sunil Uniyal Gama won in this.
