Uttarakhand: Now wildlife will not remain thirsty in the scorching heat, forest department will adopt this technology

The wildlife in the forests will no longer remain thirsty in the scorching heat, nor will they have to wander towards villages in search of water. To quench the thirst of wild animals inside the forest, the Forest Department has planned to build ponds and fill them with water.
Work on making water hole started
The work of making water holes has also started in Terai Eastern Forest Division. In which at some places water will be poured from natural water sources or filling will be done from tankers of the Forest Department. Due to which animals will be able to drink water and also take bath in it.
Natural water sources drying up
Let us tell you that due to excessive exploitation of forests and changing weather, natural water sources dry up in summer. Most of these water sources have gradually been depleted. Due to this, wild animals come out of the forest and come towards the villages in search of water. For some time now, wild animals have caused a lot of harm to people in the Terai East and surrounding forest areas.
Forest department will adopt this technology
Taking the complaints of the villagers seriously, the departmental officers brainstormed deeply to deal with it. In which it was decided that ponds would be built at various places in the forests. In this, forest employees will fill water through tankers and tanks daily. With which animals will be able to quench their thirst. This scheme has also been started in Terai Eastern Forest Division.
