According to the information received from the Crime Branch, the Crime Branch team had received information in this matter, after which the information was also given to the Drug Control Department and then after making a complete plan, it was raided in two renowned hospitals of Central Delhi and East Delhi on Monday. Was killed. According to the information, the surprising thing is that these fake medicines include cancer, diabetes and kidney medicines.
Factory running to make fake medicines
After raiding these two renowned private hospitals, the team found factories in three different cities where medicines were manufactured and supplied from there. Raids were conducted in three factories of Dehradun and medicines worth Rs 8 crore were seized from there. According to information received from sources, three factories have been detected in Dehradun. At the same time, information about two factories in Ghaziabad and Amritsar has also come to light.
According to information received from Crime Branch sources, now the team is planning to raid factories in Ghaziabad and Amritsar. It has also come to light that fake medicines were being supplied to hospitals by these factories for a long time. All the samples have been sent to FSL for testing and it is suspected that the network of fake medicines is spread in many parts of the country.
Earlier, the Crime Branch and Drug Control Department of Delhi Police had raided medicine shops in Bhagirath Palace and Daryaganj area last Thursday and seized a large quantity of fake medicines from there. Also, three people doing wholesale business of medicines were arrested. He was taken on remand and interrogated. During interrogation itself, the team came to know about factories in Dehradun, Ghaziabad and Amritsar.
