In this case, SSP Dr. Gaurav Grover said that on the complaint of victim Naveen Srivastava, a case was registered against outpost incharge Alok Singh and his associate Prince Srivastava and three unknown people at Kotwali police station. SSP said that after the matter came to his notice, when it was investigated by SP City, the incident was found to be true.

Rs 44 lakh has also been recovered from the outpost in-charge. In this case, the accused outpost incharge Alok Singh and another accused have also been arrested. Let us tell you that the SSP had already suspended the Beniganj outpost in-charge. At present, the case related to Hawala business is also being investigated.

It is noteworthy that during checking on April 3, Beniganj police of Kotwali police station had recovered Rs 50 lakh from the businessman. Outpost incharge Alok Singh kept Rs 50 lakh with himself. When the businessman, who was going to Nautanwan with the money, asked for his money, the policemen chased him away, threatening an encounter. On getting information about the matter, the SSP handed over the investigation of the entire matter to the SP City.
