Uttarakhand: Encounter in Haridwar, STF killed Baba Tarsem’s killer, one accused ran away

After many years, the police in Uttarakhand have started removing the rust from their guns. After the encounter in Asharodi area of Dehradun a few days ago, now an encounter has taken place in Haridwar. In this encounter, Uttarakhand STF and Haridwar Police have killed the accused of murder of Baba Tarsem Singh. Another accused has fled from the spot.

Let us tell you that on the morning of March 28, Dera Kar Seva chief Baba Tarsem Singh was shot dead by two shooters riding a bike in Nanakmatta. This murder of Baba was a big challenge for the police and also raised questions on his confession. After this murder, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami himself took stock of the situation and instructed the police officers to reveal the matter soon.

STF goes after the killers
In this matter, along with the top police officers, the DGP himself was also keeping a constant watch. The result was that the police found clues about the killers the very next day of the murder and started arresting the suspects within two days. STF was also deployed to arrest the killers.

One lakh rupees reward was killed
Uttarakhand STF and Haridwar Police received information that the two main accused in the murder are in Bhagwanpur area of Haridwar. After this information, the siege of the accused started. Shooter Amarjeet Singh alias Bittu, carrying a reward of Rs 1 lakh, got trapped in this siege. It is being told that the police asked Bittu to surrender but Bittu opened fire on the police team. In defense, police and STF also opened fire in which Bittu was killed. However, in the meantime, one of Bittu’s companions escaped.
