A laborer died after being crushed under a machine that lifted packets of goods in Jhabreda, Haridwar. After the death of the worker, the villagers reached the factory and created a ruckus. After receiving the information the police team immediately reached the spot.

The incident happened on Monday night. According to the information, there is a paper manufacturing factory near Budhpur Noorpur village of Jhabreda police station area. Sohit (22) of Budhpur was working in night shift on Monday night. At night, Sohit lay down on a cardboard packet, putting the leads of his mobile phone in his ears.

Family members created ruckus
Meanwhile, the Trax machine that picks up paper packets picked up the packets. Due to which Sohit got hit by the machine and died. As soon as the family heard the news of the youth’s death, they reached the factor. The villagers blocked the road accusing the factory management of negligence.

During this time, the crowd gathered at the spot started demanding action against the factory management. The investigation has also revealed negligence on the part of the young man.
