Uttarakhand: Be careful if you are taking children with you to Haridwar, second incident of child theft in a week

A one year old child of a woman was stolen from Harki Paidi, Haridwar. The incident has given sleepless nights to the police department. The suspects were captured on CCTV camera carrying the child. On the basis of which the police has started searching for the accused. Let us tell you that this is the second incident in a week. Even before this, a three-year-old girl had gone missing from Harki Paidi area. After which the accused was arrested and the girl was recovered.

Woman’s one year old child stolen
The incidents of child theft are continuously increasing in Haridwar. The incident happened on Tuesday. Neetu, her husband Chhotu resident Laljiwala had left their one year old child with her elder daughter at Naisota Ghat and had gone to get food. When Neetu returned with food, the child was found missing from there. When the woman searched for the child, she found out that the child had been kidnapped. There has been a sensation in Harki Pauri after the incident. The woman informed the police regarding the matter.

Taking cognizance of the matter, Haridwar Police investigated the footage of CCTV cameras installed at different places. In which a suspicious person was seen carrying a child in his lap. Along with this, a woman is also seen in the footage. The police have started investigating the matter seriously. On the other hand, after the loss of the child, the woman is in bad condition and crying. Regarding the matter, Inspector Kundan Singh Rana said that the matter is being investigated. The accused will soon be arrested and the child will be recovered safely.

The girl was kidnapped a week ago also
Let us tell you that last week also a 3 year old innocent girl resident of Uttar Pradesh was kidnapped in Harki Paidi. However, the police arrested the accused in that case from Roorkee and handed over the girl to her family. The accused had told during interrogation that he had kidnapped the girl to force her to beg. Now again the incident of child theft on Tuesday has given sleepless nights to the police. Taking the matter seriously, the police have started searching for the child.
