There is a stir in Haldwani city after the dead body of a woman was found in a closed room. The landlord informed the police about the incident. After which the police reached the spot and recovered the body of the woman.

Woman’s dead body found in a closed room
The incident happened on Wednesday. The deceased woman has been identified as Aastha alias Afsana, resident of Neelanchal Colony. The woman was originally from Rudrapur and was living in a rented room in Phase 5 of Neelanchal Colony for the last three months. Her two daughters also lived with Aastha. According to the information, the woman was originally a resident of Rudrapur.

The woman had not come out of the room for two days
It is being told that the woman’s husband used to come there only once or twice a month. The landlord told that on April 8, Aastha’s husband had come drunk. That same night at 4 o’clock he left, taking his two daughters with him. After which the woman did not come out of her room for two days.

The landlord informed the police
Landlord Maurya called Aastha but her phone was switched off. On Wednesday, when the landlord went to Aastha’s room to meet her, there was a foul smell in the room. The landlord went into the room and saw that the ground had slipped beneath his feet. The dead body of a woman was lying in the room. After which the landlord informed the police about the incident.

Police engaged in investigation
After receiving the information the police team immediately reached the spot. The police have taken the woman’s body into custody and sent it for post-mortem. Along with this, the woman’s husband is being searched.
