Uttarakhand: PM Modi’s visit is full of hopes for AIIMS too, PM Modi’s election visit to Rishikesh tomorrow

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Rishikesh election visit will be special for the BJP candidates as well as the AIIMS administration. About 200 acres of IDPL land is to be given to AIIMS. In the year 2020, its proposal has also been passed in the cabinet of the then Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat. Presently Trivendra Singh Rawat is the BJP candidate from Haridwar Lok Sabha seat. AIIMS administration hopes that after this visit of the Prime Minister, IDPL land can be given to AIIMS.
In January 2020, the Uttarakhand government, under the chairmanship of the then Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, had decided to give 200 acres of land to Rishikesh AIIMS out of 833 acres of land given to IDPL. This raised hopes for the expansion of AIIMS. Patients arrive at AIIMS every day from places like Uttarakhand, Noida, Haryana, Western Uttar Pradesh, Himachal etc. Patients have to struggle for beds. AIIMS administration says that if they get IDPL land, they can increase the number of beds here to three thousand. At present there are about 900 beds here. Along with this, other facilities can also be increased. Even after four years, no action has been taken on the proposal to hand over IDPL land to AIIMS. Dialogue
If AIIMS gets 200 acres of land in IDPL then its expansion will be possible. Due to which many problems will also be solved.
