Relief news has emerged for Congress in Uttarakhand. A picture of former CM and senior Congress leader Harish Rawat was revealed. In that picture, he was seen giving a bouquet to PM Narendra Modi. After which there was speculation that he might join BJP. But now he has denied these reports.

Former CM Harish Rawat posted on Facebook and wrote, ‘The culmination of lies and conspiracy, the tools of BJP first conspired to topple our government and now by defaming me, they are using the bouquet given to Modi ji as Chief Minister to benefit BJP. Confusion is being created by making the photo viral.

He further wrote in his post, ‘This photo is from 2016, when the respected Prime Minister came to Uttarakhand. I was the Chief Minister of the state at that time and I had presented him a bouquet at the helipad. What an irony, now Stingbaaz has also started dreaming of becoming an MP. Blessed be BJP, after your downfall, you found helpers like yourself.

Actually, on Tuesday, a picture of former CM Harish Rawat is going viral. In this picture, he is seen giving a bouquet during the meeting with PM Modi. On the basis of this picture, it was being claimed that he could join BJP before the first phase of voting. But now he himself has denied these reports.

Let us tell you that Harish Rawat was the Chief Minister in the Congress government from February 2014 to March 2017. However, then Congress MLAs broke away and joined BJP, after which Harish Rawat had to resign from the post of minister. Currently his son is the Congress candidate in the Lok Sabha elections.
