6 children died after school bus overturned in Mahendragarh, Haryana, school is open even on Eid day

A private school bus full of children overturned in Mahendragarh, Haryana on Thursday morning. According to sources, 6 children died in the accident while 15 children were injured. The injured were immediately admitted to private hospitals. After the information, top officials of police and administration have also reached the spot. The cause of the accident is said to be overtake.

The bus of GL Public School located in Kanina town of Mahendragarh was going to school with children on Thursday morning. The school bus suddenly overturned while overtaking near village Unhani. During this there was a huge explosion and screams.

The school bus driver was drunk
According to an eyewitness, the driver of the school bus that met with the accident was driving under the influence of alcohol. People say that the bus was traveling at a very high speed and after losing balance, it collided with a tree. This caused a major accident and many children were seriously injured.

Police said about investigation
According to the information received by the police, there were a total of 20-25 children in the bus. The injured children were taken to the hospital. The investigation of the case is still going on. It will be investigated whether the driver was asleep or whether he was intoxicated. Further action will be taken only after that. Today there are holidays in all government offices and schools on Eid. Even after that the private school did not declare holidays.
